Short Biography of Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe is an American Short story writer, born on January 19, 1809 in Boston, US. Aside from being a short story writer he was also a poet, editor and a critic. One of his most famous short stories is the Tell-Tale Heart. His parents were not present in his childhood because his mother died and his father left. After his Mother died, he lived with John and Frances Allan. In 1826 Edgar studied in a University at Virginia.
